A lot of people come to Đỉnh for the grilled pork bánh mì and come back for the tea. We hear it often enough that the teas deserve their own page, so you don’t have to stand at the counter reading eleven lines of menu.
How the tea is made
The base is jasmine tea, cold-brewed rather than brewed hot and poured over ice. It takes longer, but the tea comes out softer and fragrant, without the bitter edge. The fruit is bought fresh every day and we cook the fruit jams ourselves in the shop, with no preservatives. Every cup is 35,000 VND, whichever flavour you choose.
What we’re after is a drink where you can still taste the tea, not sugar water in a fruit colour.
Your first cup
Pink guava (Trà Ổi Hồng). If you only try one, make it this. It shows up in our Google reviews more than we expected: “both the banh mi and tea are amazing (especially the pink guava)”. Fragrant, gently sweet, and very good with a grilled pork bánh mì.

Mulberry with palm seeds (Trà Dâu Tằm Hạt Đác). More sour than sweet, deep purple. One guest came in just for a mulberry tea and left a five-star review for it, which still makes us smile.
Mango passion fruit (Trà Xoài Chanh Dây). The safe choice if you’re not sure what you like: mango on the nose, a light passion fruit tang, easy for anyone.
The rest of the menu
- Hibiscus peach and hibiscus pineapple: hibiscus flowers give a bright red colour and a clean sourness. The peach one is softer, the pineapple one fresher and a bit sharper.
- Pineapple with palm seeds and strawberry with palm seeds: hạt đác are chewy, slightly crunchy palm seeds. Order these if you like something to chew in your drink.
- Pink pomelo: light and gently sweet, the kind you can keep sipping all afternoon.
- Orange with salted plum (xí muội): fresh orange with salty dried plum, sweet, sour and salty at once. Great on a hot afternoon.
- Kiwi Yakult and melon Yakult: creamy and tangy, a good pick for kids or anyone who doesn’t want a strong tea taste.
What to eat with it
Our teas are made to go with bánh mì. A hot, crispy grilled pork bánh mì and a cold tea is what our regulars order most, around 75,000 VND for a full meal. In the evening there are seats on the sidewalk out front, a nice spot to sit with a tea and watch Tran Hung Dao go by.
We’re open every day from 6:30 am to 10 pm. See the whole fruit tea menu with a photo of each cup, or just ask at the counter and we’ll help you choose.
